During the 2014 Phenomenal Women's Summit presented by Bishop Teresa Snorton, participants who were working through their individual pieces throghout the sessions were allow a space to do so. The Quiet room has simply 6 chairs, a table, mints, cards of encouragement and prayer shawls, but was a powerful testament of the necessity of retreat. When persons like this group of women are invited to unpack and step forward in their Christian journey, things of old come to mind; coupled with breakout sessions, vendors and conference hubbub, it can be a very overwhelming and isolating. The Quiet Room is there to help people take a deep breath and a moment of mental and emotional rest on the journey forward.

Sometimes the places in of life may not come together just the way we woudl like. However, there is a balm in Gilead to make the wounded whole. Thank you for sharing in this part of the jounrey. May the words spoken here be a comfrot and encouragement to you. We pray that through all you experience, this summit provides a ray of light that you can share in the corder of the whole world where God has granted you favor and blessings.
